Police arrest 12 in Thunder Bay accused of hacking intimate images of more than 100 victims

The Thunder Bay Police Service says there could be even more victims in a massive cybercrime investigation that has resulted in 167 charges against a dozen people accused of hacking the electronic devices of 117 victims to share intimate images without their consent or knowledge.Police announced the results of the two-year investigation this week, which included charges of distributing intimate images without consent, luring, extortion, accessing child pornography, possession of child pornography and distributing child pornography.One of the accused faces 90 counts of distribution of intimate images. The 12 accused range in age from 28 to 38.
