The Saskatchewan legislature has unanimously passed an Opposition NDP private members’ bill to formally recognize Sikh Heritage Month in April.Bhajan Brar’s legislation says the month is important to Sikh Canadians who celebrate Vaisakhi, a major festival that marks a key event in Sikh history and faith.

Searchers continued to scour the thick woods in rural Nova Scotia for two missing young children on Monday overnight, looking for any clues that might help them locate the siblings who disappeared from the family home four days ago.
