Multiple people are dead and several are injured, police say, after a person drove a car through a Filipino street festival in Vancouver Saturday night. A suspect has been taken into custody.The incident at a Lapu Lapu block party in the city’s east side has shaken the tight-knit Filipino community and the region as a whole.
Kent McDonald hopes he will be able to vote on Monday after experiencing significant barriers in the 2021 federal election that led him to not cast a ballot.
