OC Transpo offering a Free Service Weekend on May 3 and 4

OC Transpo will offer free service on all buses, trains, and Para Transpo on May 3 and 4, 2025. On Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4, enjoy free, unlimited transit service across the city on all buses, trains, and Para Transpo! OC Transpo is offering a Free Service Weekend to show appreciation for transit customers and to provide all residents and visitors with the opportunity to experience the New Ways to Bus network and O-Train Lines 1, 2 and 4.  Where will you go? With unlimited free trips all weekend long, all of Ottawa is at your fingertips – just use the Travel Planner or Transit app to plan your adventure. Fare gates at O-Train stations will be open, and there’s no need to pay when boarding the bus. Para Transpo customers can book free trips by using My Para Transpo or calling 613-560-5000.   Stop by Hurdman Station on Saturday, May 3 between 10 am and 2 pm for a fun and interactive family-friendly event hosted by OC Transpo’s mascot, OC Owl, and learn about new services, customer experience improvements, safety initiatives, and more.   For more information on the Free Service Weekend and OC Transpo service, please visit octranspo.com.
