‘Strong smell’ prompts Ontario police to force their way into home full of animals

Provincial police say officers were forced to break into a home in Orillia, Ont., on Wednesday after a neighbour reported a 'strong smell' emanating from inside.

Prosecutors say they will not seek to execute a Canadian awaiting trial in the United States for his alleged role in a transnational drug-trafficking ring accused of plotting and carrying out murders in Ontario. Andrew Clark, who is charged with drug trafficking, murder and conspiracy to commit murder, was identified by U.S. Attorney-General Pam Bondi in a February statement as a suspect who could face “death or life imprisonment” if convicted.
