May 12, 2025
British Columbia Premier David Eby said there’s a disconnect between what health authorities say about the prior condition of the suspect in the Vancouver festival attack and the reality of what happened. But Eby also said at a news conference Monday that people shouldn’t jump to the conclusion that those involved in the care of Adam Kai-Ji Lo did anything wrong. He noted that the province is committed to a full public inquiry to answer those questions if they are not addressed at a criminal trial.
