Canada’s EV industry is having a rough week, and some experts fear that this volatile situation could enter full-shutdown mode over the coming months. A few days ago, Honda Canada reportedly decided to take a 2-year break on its $15 billion Ontario investment, a gameplan that would have included multiple EV battery plants and a Made-In-Canada supply chain. And now, other business investors might be re-evaluating their dreams of a large-scale EV operation in Canada. Joining the show to discuss further is Gal Raz, an Associate Professor of Operations and Sustainability Management at Western University’s Ivey Business School. Shifting gears to local news, bike days have returned to NCC roadways, but with some controversial changes attached. Here to comment further on that last part is local cyclist Dave Robertson, who owns Let’s Go Cargo Bike Rentals. Plus, La Bottega is celebrating 30 years of business in the ByWard Market! Pat Nicastro breaks down the secret ingredients to success.
