U.S. doctors, nurses will be able to work in Ontario more easily through new fast-tracked process

Province is enabling qualified U.S.-licensed health-care workers to start working in Ontario before they register with the regulatory college. Health Minister Syliva Jones says the move will increase the number of health-care professionals working in the province.

According to Statistics Canada, the number of Canadians who were members of a registered pension plan grew by 293,500, or 4.2 per cent, from 2022 to over 7.2 million in 2023.
