As the G7 Summit wraps up in Kananaskis, Canada has unveiled $2 billion in military support for Ukraine. However, no joint statement is being made by the G7 leaders in regards to the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. CTV’s Colton Praill delivers the latest developments from Alberta as the show kicks off. Here at home, after 6 long years, construction is set to begin on the reborn Vittoria Trattoria. Their William Street location had to be rebuilt following a massive fire in 2019, causing $2 million in damages. Since then, we have gone through a global pandemic and a testy trade war, and a handful of ByWard Market businesses have packed up their belongings.
