The provincial courthouse in Tofino, B.C., has been moved to the site of a former residential school. The Tla-o-qui-aht spearheaded the move, as part of an effort to indigenize the criminal justice system.

Police said they aimed to address concerns and questions from residents at a town hall that nearly filled the Quadeville Community Centre.
