And as we head into another blazing-hot August weekend, Canada’s Capital is under a Heat Warning, with daily temperatures expected to hit and surpass 30 degrees Celsius over the next few days. We examine what’s to come in Hour 2 with Environment Canada meteorologist Crawford Luke. Over in Navan, festival organizers are crossing their fingers for a favourable forecast, as the annual Navan Fair kicks into high-gear. That’s a noteworthy event because it officially lights the fire for Fair Season! We go 1-on-1 with Tracey Hayes, who is the Advertising Director and Spokesperson for this longstanding event.
Vancouver has the second-lowest amount of industrial land in the Metro region, with a greater proportion of the industries on its almost 650 hectares classified as small.It also has the highest vacancy rate in the region, with the most recent quarterly brokerage reports pegging that at 5.2 per cent.
