Kristy Cameron is fresh off an airplane and back in the saddle! Last November, a bill was passed in Australia to keep kids 16-and-under away from social media platforms. It will officially kick in sometime this December. Today, a non-profit group called Unplugged Canada is calling on the feds to implement similar legislation in this country, except they are pleading for a 14-and-under smartphone ban. We dig deeper in Hour 1 with Robin Sherk, a volunteer parent and an advocate for Unplugged Canada. Meantime, as Prime Minister Mark Carney dials back some of Canada’s retaliatory tariffs against the United States, an Ottawa-based business is keeping the faith.
