Everything costs more than it did in early-2020. Since Russia attacked Ukraine in 2022, inflation and gas prices have dominated the news cycle. And for countless Canadians, their paychecks haven’t been able to keep up. So as we adjust to the old normal, but also the new normal, financial advisors suggest that a significant shift in Canadian lifestyles is not only recommended, but perhaps inevitable. Financial educator Eduek Brooks suggests building a budget, prioritizing a financial safety net, and being more selective with your extra daily expenses.
