In an Ottawa Citizen column this summer, Jennifer Gearey reported that “only 25 per cent of respondents across government agree that the federal Call to Action on Anti-Racism, Equity, and Inclusion has had a positive impact in their workplace.” I worked on this initiative, and I am not surprised by this statement. DEI initiatives (Diversity, equity and inclusion) come and go, with everyone pledging official support, but real convictions remain unknown. Read More
