After meeting with the Stellantis big-wigs, Prime Minister Carney has received assurances that the company will remain committed to Brampton. This comes days after the company announced plans to move their Brampton plant to Illinois. This afternoon, Carney is meeting with Ontario’s Premier, as Doug Ford suggests hitting back against U.S. President Trump if a trade deal can’t be reached. Turning to provincial matters of a different kind, the recently-appointed OCDSB supervisor was in attendance for Wednesday’s public meeting, and he had to field a fair amount of questions from concerned parents.
