Hot Docs to open with Noam Gonick’s Queer Acts of Love and Resistance in scaled-back lineup

Films amplifying marginalized voices will take centre stage in a scaled-back lineup at next month’s Hot Docs Festival, following a tumultuous year that cast doubt on its future.Programming director Heather Haynes says the festival will feature 113 documentaries, nearly half the number of films shown two years ago, as it navigates ongoing financial challenges.
