Premier Doug Ford sent a clear message to America’s top officials on Monday. If you tax us, we’ll tax you just as hard. Ontario proved they weren’t lying by delivering a 25 percent electricity surcharge to three U.S. states. And it appears that U.S. President Donald Trump received that message because he is not happy. In fact, starting tomorrow, he is promising to double tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum products. Those tariffs, within 24 hours, would elevate from 25 percent to a whopping 50 percent.
