Play ball! Ball diamonds start opening this weekend

Thanks to cooperative weather this spring, some ball diamonds will start opening this weekend, with the remaining on track to open on Tuesday, May 6. Maintenance crews are working hard to ensure that the fields are ready for use. Status updates for ball diamonds will be posted on ottawa.ca. Conditions are being assessed daily, and staff will provide updates to permit holders as the remaining ball diamonds are opened. Sports fields are scheduled to open on May 15.
