Ottawa police investigating after man and woman found dead in south-end home

Ottawa police are investigating after two people were found dead in a south-end home early this morning.Police say officers were called to a home on Pheasant Run Drive in Old Barrhaven at around 1 a.m., where they found the bodies of a man and a woman.Their identities are not being released pending next-of-kin notification.

Although the suspect in a firearm discharge in Petawawa in March remains at large, the investigation of that incident has led this past week to the arrest of eight other individuals and the seizure of more than $2.5 million worth of illegal drugs, police say. Read More
