Saskatchewan declares state of emergency as wildfires force evacuations in Western Canada

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe declared a provincial state of emergency Thursday as multiple out-of-control wildfires have been razing across large parts of Western Canada, forcing thousands of people to evacuate their communities. Mr. Moe said the emergency directive will stay in effect for at least 30 days. His announcement comes just one day after neighbouring Manitoba also declared a state of emergency, calling upon the Canadian Armed Forces to rescue residents from several Northern communities in that province.
Much has changed on the pro squash scene since Lee Beachill was last in Toronto as a tour player nearly two decades ago.The broadcast product has improved exponentially. Replay challenges have helped match flow and cut down on player-referee interaction. And the biggie, of course, is squash can finally be called an Olympic sport.
