Man who considered assisted death after bedsore tells coroner's inquiry 'you have to fight' for care

The coroner's inquiry into the death of Normand Meunier — who requested medical assistance in dying after developing a severe bedsore in hospital — wrapped up this week, after hearing from someone who knows all too well what Meunier went through.
In Fredericton, a building at the exhibition grounds that was only meant to be an out-of-the-cold shelter until mid-April is instead staying open for the foreseeable future.
