But according to a new national opinion survey, which was conducted by Leger Marketing, that level of patriotism has decreased back down to normal-strength. This coincides with Mark Carney’s election win in late-April, as parts of Western Canada and The Prairies remain highly critical of the Liberal regime. The number of insolvencies in Canada in May fell 2.6 per cent compared with the same month last year.According to data from the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, there were 12,395 insolvencies in May, down from 12,725 in May 2024.
