Hour 3 of Ottawa Now for Tues. June 24th, 2025

June 24, 2025

The mental health of Canada’s public service employees is, once again, under the microscope. According to new data released by the Treasury Board Secretariat, more employees are experiencing higher stress levels, which means their mental health is at risk of being compromised. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your present-day stress level at your workplace? Has it improved or declined compared to 2 years ago? Kristy Cameron does a vibe-check of the CFRA textboard and tackles today’s Question of the Day. Later in Hour 3, we also gather instant reaction to the newly-released study from Sean O’Reilly. He is the President of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada.
