Firefighters battle out-of-control wildfire on Halifax’s outskirts

A wildfire about 15 hectares in size on the western outskirts of Halifax continues to burn out of control.

Firefighters said Wednesday they were taking advantage of low wind and foggy conditions through the morning to battle the flames, which erupted Tuesday afternoon.
