An iconic video rental store in The Glebe is permanently shuttering its doors. For the past 40 years, Glebe Video International has been a destination for movie-lovers, withstanding the test of time after stores like Blockbuster began to disintegrate. It was once located above the Glebe Central Pub on Bank Street, then relocated to the Fourth Avenue Baptist Church during the pandemic. But soon, the lights will go out for the final time. Kristy Cameron chats with Peter Senecal, who has proudly owned Glebe Video International for 10-plus years.
