It is Inauguration Day in America, as Donald Trump is sworn in as the 47th President of the United States. According to a new report from the Wall Street Journal, he won't be handing out tariffs during his first day in office. However, he is studying them. What should we expect from Mr. Trump over the next 4 years? Kristy Cameron poses that question to Thomas Boogaart, who teaches at UOttawa’s History Department. Meantime, America’s new leader has mentioned at nauseum about his desire to make Canada the 51st State. But when he says that, how serious is he? We dig deeper with Ivan Katchanovski, a part-time Professor of Political Studies at UOttawa.
